Congressman Dave Loebsack announced today that a colored pencil drawing entitled “Bibble” was selected to represent Iowa’s Second Congressional District in the 2020 Congressional Art Contest. The drawing was done by Ryann Cheek, a junior at North Scott High School. “Bibble” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
“Year after year, the vast amount of talent that is displayed by Iowa’s students continues to impress me. The creativity of our talented young artists demonstrates that the arts are thriving in Iowa,” said Loebsack. “I especially want to congratulate Ryann and look forward to seeing her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol.”
