Assistance with Tax Preparation
I know that taxes can often be frustrating and complicated, and I urge Iowans to visit the following tax locations for assistance.
Remember to bring a photo ID, Social Security or ITIN numbers for you, your spouse and any children, last year's tax return, this year's tax information, wage and earnings statement (Form W-2) from all employers, interest and dividend statements from banks and stockbrokers (Form 1099's), retirement income statements including Social Security statements, unemployment received in 2009, disability income received in 2009, and your bank routing and account numbers for direct deposits (a blank check will work).
