The Souk Ukaz Convocation will bring 12-14 distinguished writers from the US and other countries together for a week-long discussion. The Reading-Lecture Tour will send up to 12 emerging and established American writers-teachers to conduct writing workshops in up to six countries of strategic interest. Lastly, the Between the Line Program will be a two-week summer enrichment program during which 12 high school students from Arabic-speaking countries will study creative writing at the University of Iowa with their American high school counterparts.
